Rep. Matt Manweller talks with Rick Rydell at KXLY

Rep. Matt Manweller, R-Ellensburg, talks with KXLY about pressing issues being faced by legislators as the 2016 session begins to wind down.  Of primary concern: the supplemental operating budget.  The House version, which was approved along party lines, is not widely backed by Republican lawmakers, partly due to the millions of dollars worth of tax increases included therein.  Republican legislators are also concerned about the use of the rainy day fund for non-emergent issues.
