Reps. Warnick, Manweller will be in Moses Lake to meet with constituents on Tuesday, Sept. 24
The legislators are scheduled to be in Moses Lake on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at Rep. Warnick’s district office from 1-2 p.m. Thirteenth District residents are invited to attend and ask questions of the legislators, discuss issues of the upcoming legislative session and briefly share their comments or concerns about legislation, state government and issues affecting the district.
“I encourage people to stop by my district office and chat with us. Though I’m available here most of the year when I’m not in Olympia, Rep. Manweller lives in Kittitas County and wants the chance to meet with more people here,” said Warnick, R-Moses Lake. “There are many hot issues: transportation revenue proposals, Obamacare implementation, marijuana legalization and more that we know people are concerned about and that we want feedback on. I hope people can take the time to share their thoughts or at least come say ‘Hi.’”
“We have had the opportunity to be out in the district the last couple months at speaking engagements, the county fairs, and other events,” said Manweller, R-Ellensburg. “However, it is important we continue to schedule specific meeting times around the district to ensure constituents have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss concerns. Those we represent can be a wealth of information and where we find out the most about what is going on in our communities and how they see our government operating.”
The meeting is open to all constituents in the 13th District and no RSVP is required.
