Reps. Warnick, Manweller to host telephone town hall meeting March 28
Residents of the 13th Legislative District are invited to join Reps. Judy Warnick and Matt Manweller for a telephone town hall Thursday, March 28. The event works much like a call-in radio show, where residents can listen in and ask questions of their lawmakers.
People who want to join the meeting over the phone can call toll-free (877) 229-8493, then enter pin number 15542. The call will start at 6:30 p.m. and last one hour.
“Telephone town halls are the most effective way for us to reach out to constituents and get the most input from around our large district,” said Warnick, R-Moses Lake. “I look forward to talking with the folks back home and answering their questions. We need them to stay involved in their Legislature to ensure their voices are heard.”
“As we work through the final six weeks of the session, now is a good time to hear from constituents on issues before us such as education reforms, transportation proposals, the budget and improving the economy,” said Manweller, R-Ellensburg. “I look forward to answering questions and getting some input and feedback from folks across the 13th District.”
